LRI Research Strategy 2009-2015, Modernizing Approaches to Chemical Risk Assessment.
Areas of research focus include effective interpretation of the results from new technologies for toxicity testing, innovative tools to characterize and predict environmentally relevant exposures, and improved assessments for susceptible populations, especially children, through a better understanding of genetic influences and gene-environment interactions.
